Raw Layered Cake

How To Make A Delicious Raw Layered Cake


This recipe is completely Raw and Healthy. All you have to do is mix your ingredients and refrigerate. I love to put a scoop of Raw Ice Cream on the side with different types of Berries! Also I want to point out that the crust can be made with any filling. The brownie can be made separate and of course you could always use the cashew and fudge sauce for covered strawberries. So many options, the best is what is local or on hand. Make sure your ingredients are Raw and Organic for the healthiest option.

Tools Needed: Food Processor
Yield: 9 inch Pie Dish

Ingredients





1st Layer- Crust: 
2 cups Macadamia Nuts
1/4 cup Golden Flax Seed (ground)
2-4 Dates
1 tsp. Agave Nectar
optional: 1 tsp sea salt

2nd Layer- Brownie
6-8 Black Mission Figs or Turkish Figs
2 cups Soaked Nuts of Choice
 (Almonds,Walnuts, Pecans, or Cashews)
Cacao (ground)
1 tsp. Agave Nectar
optional: 1 tsp sea salt

3rd Layer- Fudge Sauce
1/3 cup Tahini Sauce
1-2 Dates
Cacao (powdered)
2 tsp. Agave Nectar
1 tsp. salt
Add Water a little bit at a time until you get a whipped consistency.

4th Layer- Crumble
1 1/2 cup Nuts of Choice
 (Almonds,Walnuts, Pecans, or Cashews)
1/4 cup Cacao Nibs
2-4 Dates
2-4 Figs
Process lightly for a crumble texture


Optional 5th Layer- Cashew Sauce
1/2 cup Cashews (ground)
1/4 cup Tahini Sauce
1-2 Dates
2 tsp. Agave Nectar
1 tsp. salt
Add Water a little bit at a time until you get a whipped consistency.

  1. I have looked at many of the Raw food sites, an this is the best cake/pie in my eyes. It has everything I enjoy most. I added a few more figs to the brownie layer to make it a little bit thicker. But if you stick to the recipe you will be very happy. Im making two for the holidays. Its a easy and healthy way to provide your family with dessert this thanksgiving! Enjoy.
